‘Silverburn towards Elie point’

Description

One of my favourite places is Silverburn Park, an old estate in Fife. This original painting is based on a quick sketch of a stunning view from Silverburn Park towards Elie Point. I wanted to capture that stunning coastal landscape with an exquisite blend of colours. In the foreground, delicate trees with intertwined branches create a natural frame, leading the eye towards the tranquil expanse of water and the distant silhouette of Elie Point. The pastel hues of pink, green, and blue evoke a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. Just how I felt sitting sketching on a sunny day looking out across the golf course.
