Description
This painting emerged from sketches I had made while out hill-walking. The inspiration is directly from the landscape, that sense of wonder at hills in the distance. It began with more realistic colour, but working intuitively, I played with vibrant colour contrasts as the painting developed.
The painting is presented in a contemporary white float frame.
