Description
This was inspired by my daily walks with my dogs near my former home in Edinburgh. An underpainting of acrylic was sanded back, then layers were built up using acrylic, charcoal, ink and finally oils. Then I applied loose splashes of ink and acrylic, swept round to a still and tranquil winter treeline, to bring resolution.
A charcoal grey frame perfectly complements the painting.
